How to Increase Blood Circulation and Collage Production in 7 Minutes/Day Without Leaving Your Couch with Anti-Aging Expert and Face Yoga Founder, Fumiko Takatsu
Do you exercise your FACE the same way you exercise your BODY?
There are approximately 43 muscles in your face! You can tone them the same way you tone your body at the gym with body exercises.
People INCORRECTLY think it's your skin that sags but...
Your skin is attached to the muscle, so as your muscles start to sag, it brings your skin down with it. My name is Fumiko and I am an anti-aging expert, best-selling author and founder of the Face Yoga Method.
The Face Yoga Method is a proven step by step formula that focuses on your facial movements and expressions and teaches you how to exercise your face muscles to create a firmer, more sculpted face line.
I would ask you if you've ever heard of face yoga, or face exercises in general, but chances are, you haven't, so I'm going to start with the presumption that this is the absolute first time the concept of exercising your face muscles has been introduced to you.
Right now you're probably thinking one of three things:
Face yoga? The things people come up with these days! I have better things to do...
Face yoga? Exercising your face muscles? That makes sense, tell me more…
Wouldn’t face yoga cause wrinkles?
No matter what category you fall into, I've been doing this for over a decade and worked with thousands of women all over the world, I can tell you right now, once you get to understand the science behind it and see actual results, you'll ask yourself "Why didn't I think of this before?"
I promise you that if you keep an open mind and practice what I'll show you in a minute, you'll look back at this moment weeks from now and praise yourself for having the inspiration to not only have read this but to have been pro-active with your practice.
Now, as a side-note, I didn't invent the concept of exercising your face, the first mentions of face exercises date as far back as the year 48BC, in Egypt. Cleopatra is the first person recorded in history to have practiced face exercises; in recent years, celebrities such as Jack LaLanne, Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow have been avid practitioners and are known to have advertised face yoga as one of their skin care secrets.
Personally, I started practicing after a car accident had left my face looking lopsided, I was already an avid yoga practitioner and thought to myself "What if I exercise my face the same way I exercise my body?", I began creating face exercises strictly for myself and was convinced exercising the muscles in my face was the solution. A couple of weeks passed and the results were increasingly more visible and it wasn't just that my face looked better, but I was feeling the change on the inside, I had more confidence in myself and it showed.
That's how the Face Yoga Method was born. It seemed as if everything happened overnight; TV shows, interviews, events, workshops, book deals.
You don't have to spend a fortune on facials, you don't have to go under the knife, you don't have to look in the mirror and not recognize the person looking back at you just because you're over 35.
So since you've read this far, I'm going to reward you with 4 face exercises that inspired my "Face Exercises for Your Skin Routine"
Are you ready? Let's go!
1. THE BIG "O"
Open your mouth and make an “O” shape with the mouth. Make your face long, pressing the upper mouth firmly against the teeth. Feel the stretch in the muscles surrounding the mouth and nose.
You should feel the muscle movement from the corners of the mouth to the corners of the eyes.
Not only does it stretch your face and improved blood circulation, it also helps reduce smile lines.
Repeat this pose 5 times, holding it for 10 seconds at a time.
2. THE "WOW"
Say “wow” in a very slow exaggerated manner opening the mouth as wide as possible. Repeat 10 times. You do not have to vocalize this exercise to get results but it helps to relieve stress.
It stretches and wakes up your face muscles.
3. THE LIP PLUMPER - Hands Free
Curl the upper and lower lips over the teeth pulling the lips back. Insert the tongue between the lips and gently bite down with firm pressure. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
Don't hold your breath, deep breathing gives better results. This pose will help plump your lips and diminish the lines around your mouth.
